Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms apply when you buy goods or services from MV TYRES LTD through mvtyres.com or an MV Tyres ordering channel. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Delivery Information and Returns & Refunds Policy.
1. Who we are
MV TYRES LTD is a company registered in Scotland under company number SC836467. Our registered office is Unit 17 Flemington Industrial Park, Motherwell, Scotland, ML1 2NT. You can contact us at office@mvtyres.com.
2. Products and vehicle fitment
Tyre descriptions, dimensions, load and speed ratings, run-flat status and other product information are provided to help you choose. You remain responsible for checking that the tyre specification is suitable for your vehicle and intended use. Vehicle registration and tyre-size lookup tools are guidance tools and do not replace checks against the vehicle handbook, tyre placard or professional advice.
Images may be illustrative where a supplier-specific image is unavailable. The product name, size, specification and order confirmation determine the item ordered.
3. Prices and availability
Prices are shown in GBP. Any tax or delivery charge applicable to your order is shown as part of checkout. Supplier stock can change quickly. Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it.
If stock, price or product information is materially incorrect, we may contact you before fulfilment, offer a suitable alternative, or cancel the affected item and refund any amount paid for it.
4. Orders and contract formation
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated email or on-screen order acknowledgement confirms that we received the order but does not necessarily mean it has been accepted. The contract is formed when we expressly accept the order or begin fulfilment, whichever occurs first.
We may refuse or cancel an order where payment is not authorised, stock is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or specification error, fraud checks fail, delivery cannot reasonably be completed, or accepting the order would be unlawful.
5. Payment
Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Card and wallet payments may be processed by Stripe. Where finance or instalment products such as Payment Assist or Klarna are offered, eligibility, credit decisions and finance terms are provided by the relevant provider and are separate from these terms.
We do not store full card details on our servers.
6. Delivery
Delivery options, charges and any promotions are shown at checkout and described on our Delivery Information page. Delivery dates and tracking estimates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Please provide a complete delivery address and a contact telephone number. If an order is delivered to a garage or fitting location, you are responsible for confirming that the location is willing to receive it.
7. Inspection and fitting
Check the brand, model, size, load index, speed rating, quantity and visible condition before fitting. Do not fit a tyre that appears incorrect or materially damaged. Contact us promptly with your order number and photographs where relevant.
Fitting a tyre can reduce the amount recoverable on a non-fault return if the product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it. Your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected.
8. Consumer cancellation and returns
If you are a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel an eligible distance sale within the applicable cancellation period. Our current process, return address requirements, exclusions and refund handling are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, including rights relating to faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods.
9. Mobile fitting and emergency assistance
Where mobile fitting or emergency assistance is offered, availability depends on location, fitter availability, safe access, weather, vehicle condition and the requested work. ETA figures are estimates and can change with traffic and job conditions.
You must provide accurate vehicle, tyre and location information and tell us about hazards or access restrictions. A fitter may refuse or stop work where it cannot be carried out safely or where additional faults make the requested work inappropriate.
10. Business and trade customers
If you buy wholly or mainly for business purposes, consumer cancellation rights may not apply. Separate trade, credit, dropshipping or fulfilment terms agreed with you take priority where they conflict with these retail terms.
11. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
For business customers, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, except where such exclusion is unlawful.
12. Privacy and account data
We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Customers using the MV Tyres app can delete their account from the app. Transaction and tax records may still be retained where required by law.
13. Changes to these terms
The terms that apply to your order are the version in force when you place it. We may update these terms for future orders where our services, payment methods or legal requirements change.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Scotland. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory protections and court rights available to you where you live.
15. Contact
